This book is illustrated by Yang Yongqing, who was nominated for Hans Christian Andersen Award, for Lu Xun Medal, and won the first prize in the National Children’s Book Illustration. It selects widely known ancient poems in the Han Dynasty, the Three Kingdoms, the Western and Eastern Jin, Sui, Tang, Song, Yuan, Ming, and Qing Dynasty. With rich Chinese elements, the traditional Chinese painting brings to the children an aesthetic feast.
