This book introduces 6 historical figures: Guan Zhong from the Spring & Autumn Period, Shang Yang from the Warring Period, San Hongyang from the West Han Dynasty, Yan Liu from the Tang Dynasty, Wang Anshi from the Song Dynasty, Zhang Juzheng from the Ming Dynasty. They are all remarkable politicians and financiers in ancient China, powerful figures retaining the position of either prime ministers or executive prime ministers and dominating the finance of the whole nation. They have stood out in hisory because they have followed the rules of social economic development and pushed forward the history. This book aims to research into their legacy, recover the real colors of these six figures, explore the historical economic rules, so that we can gain lessons from the past.
