President QIU Xianqing Visits Hunan Xinhua Bookstore Group

On November 3, QIU Xianqing, President of Tsinghua University Press(TUP), visits the Hunan Xinhua Bookstore Group in Changsha, Hunan Province. This visit aims to gain an in-depth understanding of the wholesale and retail market for textbooks in Hunan Province, and to strengthen the business ties between TUP and the Hunan Xinhua Bookstore. LIANG Ying, Director of the Distribution Dept., LI Yuming, Deputy Director of the Distribution Dept, and ZHANG Fan, Distribution Manager of the Central China Region from TUP are also present during the visit. The two sides exchange views on a range of industrial issues, such as higher education teaching services, and digital textbooks, and share the mutual goal to achieve high-quality development for the publishing industry.
