Nano Research Energy Ranked First among General Chemistry Journals

On June 6th, 2024, Elsevier officially released CiteScore 2023. Nano Research Energy, an international academic journal published by Tsinghua University Press, achieved a CiteScore 2023 of 39.0 in its second year of publication, ranking first among 111 general chemical journals in the world and second among both materials journals and energy journals.

Nano Research Energy was founded in 2022, co-edited by Professor QU Liangti from the Department of Chemistry of Tsinghua University and Professor ZHI Chunyi from the City University of Hong Kong, and published on SciOpen, the international digital publishing platform of academic journals, independently developed by Tsinghua University Press. The journal is dedicated to showcasing cutting-edge research and the application of nano-materials and nano-science, and is committed to publishing high-quality original research and review papers. In 2022, it was designated as a high-starting new journal under the “China Science and Technology Journal Excellence Action Plan”.

CiteScore metrics is an academic journal citation metrics launched by Elsevier in December 2016. It evaluates the impact of a large number of peer-reviewed journals, book series, conference papers, and trade publications in the Scopus database, offering researchers valuable insights and enhancing the quality and effectiveness of their decisions. CiteScore 2023 calculates the number of citations made in 2020-2023 for articles, reviews, conference papers, book chapters and data papers published in 2020-2023 and divided them by the total number of publications published in 2020-2023.
