Tsinghua University Press Announces Chairman and President Succession
On July 15th, relevant responsible comrades from Tsinghua University (TU) announced at a Tsinghua University Press (TUP) management meeting that QIU Xianqing, currently President of TUP, is to become Chairman of TUP, and ZHAO Xin is to become the new President of TUP, with immediate effect. ZONG Junfeng will no longer assume the role of Chairman.
Relevant responsible comrades from TU recognized achievements and contributions made by ZONG Junfeng and other leaders of TUP in recent years, and hoped that the new leadership could put social benefits first, and foster innovation in emerging publishing business.
ZONG Junfeng reviewed the growth in scale, strength, and influence of TUP since 2008. ZHAO Xin expressed his commitment to collaborating effectively with other colleagues to open up new horizons. QIU Xianqing stated that he would strive to complete work at high standards in pursuit of TU’s strategy to build a world-class university.
