Three TUP Medical Journals Accepted for Inclusion in Emerging Sources Citation Index

On August 22, 2024, Tsinghua University Press (TUP) Life Sciences and Medicine Journals Portfolio office received the good news that Cancer Innovation was accepted for inclusion in Emerging Sources Citation Index (ESCI) database.

Cancer Innovation is published under the auspices of the Ministry of Education and the Tsinghua University. It features Academicians XU Binghe, ZHAN Qimin, and DING Jian as Honorary Editors-in-Chief, Professor MA Fei as Editor-in-Chief, and Dr. Sun Yu as Director of the Editorial Office. It is a high-quality, peer-reviewed, open access journal covering key topics in all aspects of cancer research, focusing on emerging interdisciplinary, strategic frontiers and key common technologies in oncology.

Previously, Infectious Medicine and Health Care Science were accepted by ESCI in July this year. This means that three out of the four English-language journals launched in 2022 have now been included in the ESCI database.

TUP has always been committed to creating high-quality academic journals and contributing wisdom and strength to the global academic community. Dr. Sun Yu, head of the Life Sciences and Medical Journals Portfolio office, stated that the Portfolio currently manages 11 influential English-language journals, focusing on interdisciplinary development and enhancing academic quality. The inclusion of these three journals in the ESCI is a testament of TUP’s commitment to professional standards and the increasing academic influence of the journals.
