Tsinghua University Press Delegation Visits Oxford University Press

On March 14th, 2025, at the invitation of Helen SUN, Chief Content Officer of Oxford University Press (OUP), a seven-person delegation from Tsinghua University Press (TUP), led by President ZHAO Xin, visits the OUP headquarters in Oxford, UK.

The delegation begins by touring the OUP History Museum and Archive. Following the tour, they engage in extensive discussions with representatives from OUP, including Wayne Press, Global Product Director for Education Division, and Naomi Moir, Director of Educational Solutions for English Language Teaching (ELT) Division.

The two sides held in-depth, productive talks covering critical areas like AI in education, boosting digital literacy, English language teaching (ELT) publishing, and innovative licensing partnerships. They highlighted exciting opportunities to grow their collaboration, aiming to combine resources and expertise to deliver richer, more impactful learning tools for students.

This dialogue not only strengthened their mutual understanding but also set the stage for meaningful future projects. Both teams left feeling upbeat about what’s ahead, united by a shared goal: to redefine educational publishing and create synergies that promote great content.
