TUP Attends the 39th Tunis International Book Fair

The 39th Tunis International Book Fair (TIBF) is held from April 25 to May 4, 2025, at the International Exhibition Center in Kram, Tunis, with China participating as the Guest of Honor. A delegation from Tsinghua University Press (TUP), led by QIU Xianqing, Chairman of the Board, showcases a selection of high-quality books spanning technology, culture, and education, attracting widespread attention from attendees. TUP views the book fair as a vital opportunity to deepen cooperation between Chinese and African publishers, enable reciprocal sharing of premium content, and expand the worldwide appreciation of Chinese cultural works.

Founded in 1982 and organized by the Tunisian Ministry of Culture, TIBF annually hosts participants from Arab countries such as Jordan, the UAE, and Saudi Arabia, as well as from Europe, Latin America, and organizations such as UN agencies and entities under the Arab League's educational, cultural and scientific sectors. With an average annual attendance exceeding 150,000 visitors, it is a major international book fair in Africa.
