个元音字母

英语中有5 个元音字母，它们分别是a、e、i、o、u， 
其在单词中的发音方式如表2-1-1 所示。

元音字母a（Ⅰ
） 


The sound of vowel“a” 

字母a 在重读开音节单词中的读音为/eH/，是一个双
元音。发音过程中，双唇稍扁，口形半开，口型由/e/ 向
/H/ 滑动，下腭和下唇向上移动。发音口形如图2-2-1 所示。

字母a 在重读闭音节中发/B/ 的音，它是一个前元
音，也是一个短元音。发音过程中，舌尖抵下齿，舌前部
稍抬起，双唇向两旁平伸，呈扁平形。发音口形如图2-3-1 
所示。

字母a 在单词中还可以发短元音/./。发音过程中，口
要张大，舌身尽量降低并后缩，双唇稍稍收圆，发短音。
发音口形如图2-4-1 所示。

The sound of vowel“a” 

字母a 在ss 、st 、th 等字母（组合）前面读/Q/。/Q/ 
是一个长元音。发音过程中，口要张大，舌身压低并后缩，
后舌稍隆起，舌尖离开下齿，双唇稍收圆。发音口形如
图2-5-1 所示。

舌尖抵下齿，舌前部尽量抬起，舌两侧抵上齿两侧，口形
偏平，发音要短促而轻快。发音口形如图2-9-1 所示。
