WEN Yi, Senior Economist and Assistant Vice President at the Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis. He previously served as Assistant Professor of Economics at both the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology and Cornell University, and held prestigious positions including CCB Chair Professor at Tsinghua University's School of Economics and Management, Senior Visiting Professor at Tsinghua University's PBC School of Finance, and Senior Visiting Professor at Peking University's Institute of New Structural Economics. His research focuses on macroeconomics, with particular expertise in business cycle theory, economic fluctuations, multiple equilibria and market failures in dynamic optimization, self-fulfilling asset bubbles under rational expectations, micro-foundations of monetary and quantitative easing policies, dynamic general equilibrium modeling, as well as developmental political economy and China's macroeconomic development issues.
