In recent years, the increasing importance of human capital has drawn the attention of scholars in the financial field to the relationship between labor and finance, giving rise to the emerging interdisciplinary research field of “labor and finance”. This book reviews relevant research in this field internationally and domestically, examines the issues of “labor and finance” in China in the context of the institutional background and current situation of the domestic capital and labor markets, and looks ahead to the future of research on “labor and finance” in light of the rise of digital economy and evolving concepts of environment, society, and corporate governance.
