By defining the concepts of biological risk management, AMP model, and risk assessment process, as well as elaborating on design strategies, mitigation measures, and training plans, the book proposes that reliability-centered maintenance should be the framework for biological risk management maintenance plans, and it advocates to use specific performance indicators and risk communication plans to solve problems. Through case studies, the gaps and deficiencies in current understanding and methods of biological risk management are further analyzed, and some of the most important challenges faced by the biological risk management community are identified. Meanwhile, it also provides a reference for strengthening biological risk management practices in the future.
