QIU Xianqing, Chairman of the Board of Tsinghua University Press (TUP), attended the “Taofen Book Awards” and “Outstanding Book Reviews” announcement ceremony on the evening of November 6 as a guest of honor and award presenter.

The event was held as an important part of a series of cultural activities to commemorate the 130th anniversary of the birth of ZOU Taofen (1895-1944), a celebrated publisher and journalist in modern Chinese history.

Launched by the Taofen Foundation in collaboration with over 580 publishers across the country, the event aims to build a bridge among authors, readers, and publishers while promoting the Taofen Spirit, fostering a culture of reading, and advocating for high-quality and impactful engagement with books.
QIU's participation underscores TUP's commitment to industry exchange and the promotion of reading, demonstrating TUP's sense of responsibility as a leading force among China's university presses.
