世界正在以前所未有的速度融合与变迁。随着国际科技合作与教育国际化的深入推进,培养具有国际视野、跨文化沟通能力与扎实专业素养的工程人才,已成为中国高等教育的迫切任务。单片机技术作为电子、电气、自动化、计算机、机器人等工程领域的核心基础,其教学内容的先进性、适用性与国际化程度,直接影响着学生未来的专业发展与全球竞争力。本书以纯正英文编写,内容紧密结合国内教学体系,旨在有效解决高校双语教学中长期存在的“原版教材水土不服,自编讲义语言不纯”的难题。
本书是一部系统论述MCS51系列单片机原理、接口技术与应用实践的立体化教材。主要内容涵盖单片机基本原理和硬件结构、汇编语言与C语言程序设计、内部功能单元、存储器与I/O端口的扩展、典型接口技术及应用系统设计方法。全书分为11章: 第1章介绍单片机基本概念与发展历程等内容; 第2~4章深入讲解MCS51单片机的硬件结构、MCS51指令集与MCS51汇编语言程序设计; 第5~6章论述中断处理、定时器/计数器与串行口操作; 第7~9章着重介绍系统扩展及与外部器件的接口设计; 第10章讲解单片机的C语言程序设计; 第11章完整阐述基于单片机的系统设计流程与开发工具。书后附有8051指令集、常用集成电路引脚图与ASCII码字符集等实用资料。各章均配有习题与英汉术语对照表(含拼音),既方便我国学生理解核心概念,也为在华留学生学习中文专业术语提供了便利。

The world today is undergoing unprecedented transformation driven by global integration. In this context, and given the critical need for international technological collaboration, cultivating engineers with a global perspective, crosscultural competency, and solid professional skills has become an urgent priority for higher education in China. Microcontroller technology, serves as a core foundation in numerous engineering disciplines, including electronics, electrical engineering, automation, computer science, and robotics. Therefore, ensuring that its curriculum is current, practically relevant, and internationally aligned is crucial for shaping students professional development and enhancing their global competitiveness. Written entirely in authentic English, this book is also closely aligned with Chinas engineering curriculum. It thus tackles a core dilemma in bilingual education: "imported textbooks are illsuited to local conditions, while selfcompiled materials often lack linguistic authenticity."
This book is a comprehensive and multiformat textbook that systematically expounds the principles, interface technologies, and practical applications of the MCS51 series microcontrollers. The main content covers the basic principles and hardware structure of microcontrollers, assembly language and C language programming, internal functional units, memory and I/O port expansion, typical interface technologies, and complete methodologies for microcontroller system design. It is divided into 11 chapters: Chapter 1 introduces the fundamental concepts and evolution of microcontrollers, etc; Chapters 24 delve into the hardware architecture, instruction set, and assembly language programming of the MCS51; Chapters 56 discuss the interrupt system and the operation of timers/counter and serial port operation; Chapters 79 focus on system expansion and interfacing techniques with external devices; Chapter 10 introduces the application of the C language in microcontroller development; and Chapter 11 provides a complete exposition of the design process and development tools for microcontrollerbased systems. Practical appendices include the 8051 instruction set, pinout diagrams for commonly used integrated circuits, and the ASCII character set. Each chapter includes exercises and a bilingual glossary (with Pinyin), aiding Chinese students in grasping core concepts and assisting international students in China in learning Chinese technical terms.
To align with modern pedagogical approaches, the book is supplemented with a wealth of video lectures and online course materials. This comprehensive suite of resources facilitates blended learning, designed to enhance students selfdirected learning capabilities and handson engineering skills.
