She elaborated that headquartered in Oxford, United Kingdom and with local offices across 14 countries, T&F ranks among the world's most influential academic publishing institutions. As the academic publishing arm of Informa Group, T&F integrates a portfolio of globally renowned imprints, including Taylor & Francis, Routledge, CRC Press, and F1000 Research. Its business covers academic journals, books and e-books, covering core disciplinary sectors such as humanities and social sciences, and STEM.
On behalf of TUP, SUN Yu presents the latest progress of TUP's journal publishing layout and intelligent digital publishing platform. She introduces that TUP currently runs a total of 67 academic journals, comprising 21 Chinese-language journals and 46 English-language journals, which cover sci-tech and HSS fields. In addition, SciOpen, the internationally oriented sci-tech journal digital publishing platform self-developed by TUP, was officially launched in June 2022. Up to now, the platform provides access to more than 200 high-quality academic journals and archives over 70,000 standard academic papers, laying a solid foundation for the digital dissemination of academic achievements.
T&F and TUP conduct in-depth discussions centering on optimizing digital journal publishing systems, journal's quality upgrading and global communication, and book co-publishing projects. Both sides reach extensive consensus on deepening cooperation in academic journal and scholarly publishing.
