世界华人华侨人机交互协会（ICACHI）于2012年5月10日在美国Austin（ACM CHI 2012国际会议期间）成立。时至今日，Chinese CHI已经成功举办了四届：Chinese CHI 2013、Chinese CHI 2014、Chinese CHI 2015和Chinese CHI2016分别于2013年4月29日在法国巴黎、2014年4月26-27日在加拿大多伦多、2015年4月18-19日在韩国首尔、2016年在美国San Jose与当年ACM CHI国际会议同期举办。
Chinese CHI作为ICACHI的旗舰会议，今年首次在国内举办，并由广东工业大学承办，于2017年6月8日到9日于中国广州举行。清华大学出版社作为大会合作媒体单位，届时参加此次盛会。
HCI是Human–Computer Interaction的简称，旨在探讨使用者与机器间的互动。一个成功的HCI project需要整合众多跨领域的人才与知识，这其中，既包括了机器研究相关的知识理论（如计算机图学、人工智能、自然语言处理、多媒体、系统、计算机网络等）；也囊括了在使用者方面的研究领域的理论基础（如通信视讯、传播媒体、工业设计、语言学、社会科学、认知心理学、人因设计等），可谓是博大精深，五花八门。此次Chinese CHI 2017国际研讨大会将为全世界华人HCI研究工作者提供一个产业学术交流的机会，希望全世界华人HCI产业与学术研究工作者能够拥跃参与，相互切搓交流，共襄盛举。
本次大会承办方——广东工业大学，是一所以工科为主、同时结合工理经管文法艺的多学科协调发展的重点院校。学校致力于培养有国际视野、有坚实基础、有创新能力的人才。该校于2004年正式成立艺术与设计学院，现为世界艺术、设计与媒体院校联盟成员（Cumulus Member），拥有工业设计、产品设计、服装设计与工程等11个专业。同时，学院非常注重国际合作，与芬兰阿尔托大学、美国伊利诺伊理工大学、瑞典皇家艺术设计大学、日本名古屋市立大学、香港理工大学等国（境）外顶级设计院校和芬兰创意设计公司、方-洪设计事务所等国际化设计公司均建立了稳定的国际交流与合作关系。
一． 大会注册费用及日期信息
You may register for Chinese CHI through the CHI 2017 Attendee Registration website. To register for Chinese CHI, you must also register for at least one day of the CHI conference. One-day registration for CHI is $300 for ACM or SIGCHI members or $375 for non-members if registered by *April 8, 2017* (early registration deadline).
二． 大会投稿：
a) Papers
Papers in all areas of human-computer interaction are invited and will be assessed on their contribution to the field.
Papers must present original materials and will be reviewed rigorously by expert reviewers.
All accepted papers will be included in the conference proceedings and published through the ACM Digital Library.

These may include ground-breaking work that has not been fully implemented or empirically validated, early student research and other work that are better delivered in an interactive format.

c) Special track: Interactive Arts and Design
Novel, thought provoking, evocative, sensor-rich interactive art experiences that are created by a diverse and broad group of creative practitioners and/or researchers.
Theme:interactive design and artworks related to Chinese cultural and communities.
The work can include but is not limited to：
site-specific installations
interactive artworks
online works and performances in the visual arts
electronic literature, music and video.
（Works that engage with public space and interdisciplinary projects are particularly encouraged.）

d) Chinese CHI 2017 ——Video Competition
The Video Competition will serve as a platform for students, researchers, and practitioners to share exciting and innovated ideas of Human-Computer Interaction.
The accepted submissions will be presented throughout the Chinese CHI 2017 conference and made accessible on YouTube and other selected social media.
An award ceremony for juried best videos and audience’s choice videos will be held during the conference.
Theme：Ecological HCI. We welcome video submissions related but not limited to:
Internet of Things, smart city, smart home, etc.
Human-Robot Interaction.
Social and Crowd Computing, e.g., social media, social network, crowdsourcing, crowdfunding, etc.
VR, AR, and game.
Machine intelligence and human intelligence argumentation.
