Recently, the China National Knowledge Infrastructure (CNKI) and the China Scientific Literature Measurement and Evaluation Research Center released the "Most Academically Influential Publishers of 2026" list. Tsinghua University Press(TUP) was selected as a "Most Academically Influential Publisher (2016–2025)" across 12 disciplines, placing it at the forefront of comprehensive publishing institutions nationwide. In the academic influence rankings for university publishers, which are divided into two major categories, it ranked first in the Science and Technology field and sixth in the Humanities and Social Sciences field.

Out of the 20 disciplines covered in this selection of "Most Academically Influential Publishers," TUP ranked third in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, and Information Technology; third in Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, and Interdisciplinary Sciences; fourth in Management; and fifth in Manufacturing and Materials. Furthermore, it ranked within the top 10 for Law, Economics, Transportation and Infrastructure, and Education, and within the top 20 for Arts, Linguistics/Literature, and Political Science.

This nationwide evaluation of publishers' academic influence focused on the overall development of China's book publishing industry over the past decade. By conducting statistical analyses based on publication output and citation indicators across various disciplines, the evaluation aims to scientifically measure the academic impact of publishing entities and boost the high-quality development of the publishing industry.

Over the years, TUP has remained dedicated to its academic publishing mission. Through meticulous planning and well-coordinated efforts, it has continuously strengthened the publication of high-level academic monographs and academic journal clusters. TUP has published a vast number of excellent works across the natural sciences, technology, philosophy, and social sciences, with many projects repeatedly selected for the National Publication Foundation Projects and National Key Book Publishing Programs.

Looking ahead, Tsinghua University Press will continue to build a high-quality content system that balances academic rigour, intellectual leadership, and broad accessibility. It aims to make greater contributions to serving high-level scientific and technological self-reliance, as well as the development of an independent knowledge system for philosophy and social sciences.
